IPL 2018, CSK vs RR: Suresh Raina returns to form-Realmultisportz

In the 11th season of the IPL, Chennai Super Kings defeated Rajasthan Royals by a huge margin of 64 runs in their new home ground Pune. Chennai scored 204 runs for 5 wickets with the help of ‘Man of the Match’ Watson (106). The Rajasthan Royals’ team started to chase the target and it was a bad start and till the end they could not recover and lost all wickets to make 140 runs.

Raina played a small but explosive innings against Rajasthan Royals (RR). He made a thrill in the match with his shots. Especially when he hit four fours in successive balls of Ben Strox.

Earlier, Chennai Super Kings scored 204 runs for 5 wickets, thanks to a scintillating 46 runs in the third century of Shane Watson (106) and Suresh Raina of the IPL. The Australian batsman, who ran into a very dangerous form, hit nine fours and six sixes in 57 balls, while Raina scored 46 runs in just 29 balls.

The most interesting was the sixth one, when Raina appeared in his real colors. It was bowled over by Ben Stokes, in which Raina scored four consecutive fours in the last four balls. After the first ball hit the first ball, he hit the third ball in the off side. On the fourth ball, bouncing lightly on the back, shot the shot towards the back, after which the ball went straight across the boundary. On the fifth ball, Raina then took advantage of not being fielder. They played the ball in the leg side while touching the ball backwards. On the last ball of the over, he was hit on the off-side slip.

However, the tremendous start, Raina once again remained unbeaten and missed out with just four runs from the half-century. On the private score of 46, he was caught by Gautam on Shreyas Gopal’s ball. Raina hit nine fours in 29 balls. There was a 81-run partnership between him and Watson for the second wicket. CSK’s 150 runs were completed in just 13 overs.
